552

Technology has evolved from time to time. The advancement in the use of technology to address several challenges is the biggest success the human race has achieved. India with the second largest population in the world, likely to become the largest in successive years, has many contemporary issues that deter the development prospect of the country. The situation in the agricultural sector, healthcare, sanitation and other areas of governance are lagging behind. The use of technology has been identified as an effective mechanism to improve governance and make it more efficient.

India’s technocratic potential is globally recognised. Many leading CEOs of IT giant companies are from India. Visionary leaders like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam believed in the technology advancement to tackle many contemporary issues. The Hon’ Prime Minister of India have structured this vision into a formalised campaign called Digital India with the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

To take this vision forward as public-spirited individual Digital India Foundation brings to you Solve4India Forum. Solve4India is a platform for igniting minds to deliberate and share innovative experiences or ideas on the use of technology to counter various issues.

The objective of the event is to bring together like-minded individuals with a focussed vision. This would be a consortium of insightful ideas.
